Snow. Still.

I'll soon be there with snow
I'll wash my hair with snow
And with a spade of snow

Let me just start by saying that I love snow. like LOVE it. It softens all the rough edges, and silences the noise and brings this wonderful peaceful hush over the whole world. My favorite kind of snow is the big fat snowflakes that make you feel like you're living in a snowglobe, just surrounded by the beautiful, drifting soft flakes.


But ( there is always a but)...its just about February! and honestly, its not the snow, but the constant deep freeze we've been under for the last 2 months. The dark, the clouds, the biting wind and the icy roads....and people who suddenly become idiots when they see the tiniest hint of white fluff hit the road. 
I miss the sun. and grass. and the trees being green. I wonder if my roses will survive this year? I tried to protect them but the weight of the snow and ice this year may have overwhelmed my burlap and leaf enclosures. 


I just want to get a blanket and lay in the sun and read a book on a hillside somewhere.
I want to wear my cute dresses and heels to work.
I want to ride outside!
I want to go up to the lake and pretend I'm at the ocean


 I love being with all my friends and my lovely fiance, and my mom..but right now I want to be supremely anti-social and crawl into a hole and not come out till spring. And eat lots of junk food!
Alright. Enough complaining. I'll save it for the ice storm we're due to have this week! 
In other news:
I found a wedding dress! Its beautiful, and it makes me feel like a princess! I also took my lovely bridesmaids (most of them) with me and found elegant dresses for them too. I think we're going to do an eggplant and champagne color theme. 
And, I am so so blessed to have Mr. Man in my life. We stopped at the grocery store tonight to pick up some stuff, and as I looked over at him, I was just struck by how handsome he is...it makes me giggle inside to realize that I get to have him the rest of my life!
